The junior high bands consists of students in 7th and 8th grade. By this point, students have begun to develop into more mature musicians, as this group prepares them to be successful in high school band. This ensemble's purpose serves to glorify God through music.This group learns and performs a vast array of musical styles. Students look at these genres through a Biblical and Christ centered approach. 8th graders are eligable to participate in the Blue Flames Jazz Band, as well as playing with the pep band at home boys varsity basketball games. All students are eligable to participate in the Ohio Music Education Association's Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event. Below is the Handbook for the junior high band.
