The Blue Flames Jazz Band
This particular ensemble is an extension of the regular concert band setting. It is open to those students who are in 8th-12th grade. The jazz ensemble performs at every band concert, as well as other opportunities throughout the year. Many genres are covered from Latin, swing, ballad, funk, and rock. Membership in this ensemble requires rehearse before school at 7:20 am on Wednesdays and Fridays each week. Students are asked not to miss more than three rehearsals before a concert as the rehearsal time is important.
